DESCRIPTION

TP-Link TL-SG1008P is an easy-to-install (Plug&Play) 8-port 10/100Mbps network switch that includes 4 PoE (Power over Ethernet) ports – ports 1, 2, 3 and 4.

This model is compatible with IEEE 802.3af compliant PD (Powered Devices), providing each PoE port with a capacity of up to 15.4 W, with a maximum total of 55 W for all PoE ports. The switch has a prioritization function, which protects the system in case of energy overload.

If PoE power consumption reaches or exceeds 55W, the switch will prioritize ports and power down a port based on its importance (ports 1, 2, and 3 having equal priority, and all above port 4). This mechanism ensures efficient power distribution and protects the connected equipment.
