With the 70Mai Xiaomi A500S car camera, you won’t miss any important details while driving. This camera offers high-quality images with a resolution of 2.7K (2592 x 1944 pixels; 4:3 aspect ratio) at 30 frames per second and a wide viewing angle of 140. Also, the secondary camera, intended for mounting on the rear of the car, records at a Full HD resolution of 2 Megapixels, 30 FPS, and a viewing angle of 130.

The camera’s advanced features include GPS, WiFi, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and the ability to connect a secondary camera for the car’s interior (note that the interior camera cannot be used simultaneously with the rear camera). The 3D DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) and WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) functions significantly improve the quality of recordings at night or in low light/high contrast conditions. WDR works by capturing two images at different exposures, combining them to create a clear and balanced image between light and dark.

The camera has car monitoring functionality while parking. Thanks to the built-in G-sensor, it can detect vibrations or collisions when the car is parked, automatically triggering emergency recording and issuing a voice alert when the camera is restarted (a separate hardwire kit is required for this). The A500S’s WiFi connectivity allows viewing recordings, adjusting settings, activating parking mode monitoring, and downloading video clips directly from the 70mai mobile app (available on Google Play and the App Store).

You don’t have to worry about storage space. Thanks to cyclic recording, new clips will automatically overwrite the oldest ones, ensuring you don’t run out of space on a microSD card of up to 128 GB (card not included). In addition, you can monitor and view real-time data such as speed and coordinates, accurately tracking location.

The A500S’s ADAS system, which includes LDWS (Lane Departure Warning System) and FCWS (Forward Collision Warning System), helps protect you in traffic, helping to prevent unwanted incidents.

Application

With the help of the Wi-Fi function, you can easily connect to the dedicated application and view the images directly from the camera, you can change the camera settings, activate or deactivate certain special functions.
