hEX PoE is a five-port Gigabit Ethernet router for locations where wireless connectivity is not required. The device has a USB 2.0 port and an SFP port for the fiber optic option. Ports 2-5 can power other PoE capable devices with the same voltage applied to the unit. It has an affordable price, it is small and easy to use, but at the same time it comes with a very powerful 800 MHz processor, capable of all the advanced configurations supported by RouterOS. Fewer power adapters and cables to worry about! The maximum current is 1A per port, the Ethernet ports being shielded. It supports passive PoE input and passive output or 802.3af/at if it is powered by a 48V source. Ethernet ports 2-5 can supply other PoE capable devices with the same voltage applied to the unit.
