The GPeR unit allows the extension of the Ethernet cable by up to 100-150 m for common network devices and up to 210 m to another GPeR unit, for a maximum length of up to 1,500 m (if 7 repeaters are used).
It is very practical for very tall tower buildings or buildings with many apartments arranged on many floors and in several areas, where very long Ethernet cables could be a problem.
The maximum allowed length of the CAT6 Ethernet cable between the GPeR and the power source / router is 100 m (depending on the quality of the cable, it can reach up to 150 m).
The maximum allowed distance of the CAT6 Ethernet cable between two GPeR devices is up to 210 m (depending on the quality of the cable).
If the destination device does not accept PoE-in power, PoE Passthrough can be disabled by manually removing all jumpers.
Optionally, it can be used outdoors together with the outdoor housing
