DESCRIPTION
This camera can be installed both indoors and outdoors, with a robust metal “foot” housing capable of withstanding temperatures between -30C and 60C.
INFRARED up to 60 meters
The DS-2CD2T46G2H-2I(2.8MM) provides high-quality images in low-light conditions or at night, with an IR LED illuminator that allows viewing at distances of up to 60 meters. This aspect becomes essential for effective monitoring in various scenarios.
FIXED LENS
With a fixed 2.8 mm lens, the camera provides a horizontal angle of 100.2, being suitable for general surveillance of areas. Although the viewing angle is not adjustable, the focal length provides extended coverage, making it easy to monitor the target area.
POE (Power Over Ethernet)
This camera can be powered both from a power supply and via the network cable (POE), ideal for use with an NVR that includes a POE switch. This aspect simplifies and optimizes cabling in surveillance systems.
CARD SLOT
You can record the images captured by this camera to a DVR, NVR or even a PC. The DS-2CD2T46G2H-2I(2.8MM) also allows recording to a memory card (not included), providing flexibility in data management and storage.
MECHANICAL IR FILTER (ICR / IR Cut Filter)
Equipped with a self-retracting mechanical IR filter, the camera filters infrared light during the day to avoid color display malfunctions. In night mode, the filter is retracted, allowing infrared light to pass through and improving visibility in black/white mode.
TRUE WDR (Wide Dynamic Range)
The difference to BLC (Backlight Compensation) is that TRUE WDR compensates for both the foreground image and the background image in high-contrast lighting conditions. This aspect improves the image quality, ensuring a clear and balanced view.
