Conventional infrared cameras provide black and white images, which can result in the loss of important details. On the other hand, cameras equipped with white light provide color images, but can be disturbing when the lights remain on all night.

To address these shortcomings, Hikvision has developed a new supplemental lighting technology – Smart Hybrid Light . Unlike traditional night vision solutions, cameras equipped with this technology can provide high-definition and detailed color images even in difficult lighting conditions, while ensuring a pleasant user experience.

How does Smart Hybrid Light work?

Hikvision Smart Hybrid Light allows you to select the lighting mode that best suits your requirements: IR, white light or Smart mode. In Smart mode, the color CCTV camera maintains infrared illumination until an event triggers color images to capture critical details.
