DESCRIPTION

With two Gigabit Ethernet ports (RJ45), it provides an impressive total speed of up to 1750 Mbps (450 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 1300 Mbps at 5 GHz).

To ensure continuity in data transmission, the EAP245 supports roaming, allowing users to move between locations without affecting video streams and voice calls. Centralized cloud management and Omada app management facilities make network administration easy.

EAP245 provides a secure network by providing multiple authentication options such as SMS, Facebook WiFi, Voucher, etc. Captive Portal provides a convenient method of authentication, and Band Steering automatically moves dual-band devices to the wider 5GHz band for faster connections.

With the MU-MIMO (Wave 2) function, data is transferred simultaneously between multiple devices, increasing the speed of connections. Beamforming sends a stronger signal to areas with higher demands, providing a fast and stable experience.

The EAP245 supports VLAN management for improved network control. Schedules can be set to automatically restart hotspots and WiFi can be turned on/off at selected times. The installation is flexible, it can be done on the wall or ceiling.

Power is provided by 802.3af/at PoE or 48 V Passive PoE (+4.5 pin; -7.8 pin, PoE adapter included), and the optimal operating temperature is between 0C and +40C.
