DESCRIPTION
Exponentially increase the performance and utility of the hybrid photovoltaic system by choosing energy storage in LiFePO4 batteries of the Bastion WF5K module. It collects the generated electric current and acts as a backup solution for cases where the user needs additional energy, such as power outages from the network or during the night, etc. The design of the Bastion WF5K module and the Ascet hybrid inverter series was conceived by the same creative team using shapes, colors and technical construction features to create a complete and perfectly harmonized solution.
Li-ion batteries with LiFePO4 cells
Batteries that use LiFePO4 technology are some of the safest implementations available at the moment. Having high density in a smaller volume, the module fits in any space for assembly because this type of battery has no toxic emissions in operation, so no special ventilation conditions are required.
Limited emergency
The Bastion battery module can be implemented in full safety conditions with the help of the additional fire suppressor. It works as an emergency system against fires triggered by electrical or thermal factors. It includes 2 action phases, a gaseous one that suppresses combustion and a solid one that will isolate the source of combustion, together eliminating any risk factor present in a volume of ≤0.3m³.
The imperceptible presence
The volume and low weight of the battery module make installation a simple operation and can be placed on any wall, maintaining a discreet and minimal note. In addition, the passive cooling function assures the user that the operation is very silent.
Battery Management System (BMS)
Built with advanced technical features, the Bastion battery module features a battery management system (BMS) that offers extra protection to the implementation depending on the operating factors. This system communicates the actual states of the battery system and ensures that the lithium batteries can be quickly recharged without being damaged during the charge-discharge processes. The estimated lifetime is 6000 cycles at 1C.
Multiple protections
With 9 types of integrated protections, the Bastion battery module will ensure that its operation is at maximum performance. Environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity, influence the operating regime if it does not fall within the recommended range. If this range is exceeded, Bastion will use the protections installed to prevent any damage, but this will limit its operation until the conditions return to the accepted range.
Easily scalable
Baton WF5K supports the connection of up to 15 units in parallel to the hybrid inverter ensuring extensive back-up time and storage for unpredictable cases.
