The Garmin Dash Cam 47 DVR includes a dual USB adapter, allowing you to connect your camera and phone to your car”s charging socket at the same time. The camera records continuously and has the ability to automatically save recordings to the Vault, a feature that may incur additional costs. Video recordings and photos can be viewed through the Garmin Drive app.
The Garmin Drive app is compatible with Android and iOS devices and allows the synchronization of up to 4 dash cameras. When you”re away from your vehicle, the Garmin Drive app gives you the ability to access and configure the camera over your Wi-Fi connection. 
The camera has the ability to alert you in different situations, such as when you are in a queue and the car in front starts, or when it detects deviations from the road route, among others.
The Garmin Dash Cam 47 DVR car camera is equipped with the forward collision warning function, alerting you when you are rapidly approaching a stopped vehicle in front of you.
The camera is equipped with a lane departure warning system. This means you”ll get alerts when you”re getting too close to another vehicle, drifting off course, or if the car in front starts up while you”re in a queue.
