hEX S is a five-port Gigabit Ethernet router for locations where wireless connectivity is not required. Compared to hEX, hEX S has a 1.25 Gbit/s SFP port for fiber optic connection and a PoE output on the last port. It is affordable, small and easy to use, it is equipped with a very powerful dual core processor of 880 MHz and 256 MB RAM, capable of all the advanced configurations supported by RouterOS. The device has a USB 2.0 output for content sharing (video files, photos, data). It has IPsec hardware encryption (~ 470 Mbps) and supports the Dude server package. The microSD slot offers improved read/write speed for file storage and for Dude.
