DESCRIPTION
TP-LINK TL-WA850RE is designed to conveniently extend the coverage and improve the signal strength of the existing wireless network, thus eliminating the no-signal areas. With the wireless N speed of 300Mbps, the Range Extender button, its miniature size and the possibility of being mounted on the wall, expanding the wireless network has never been easier. Moreover, the Ethernet port makes the TL-WA850RE work as a wireless adapter to turn a wired network into a wireless one.
Range Extender 300Mbps
The TL-WA850RE is designed to extend the coverage and improve the signal strength of an existing wireless network, thus eliminating areas with no signal. In addition, it helps users maintain a wireless network and greatly improves its coverage. With the speed of 300Mbps used by the 802.11n standard, this device is ideal for watching HD videos, streaming audio and online games.
Flexible deployment
The miniature size of the device and its design that allows mounting on the wall, making this device easy to implement and very flexible. Moreover, the TL-WA850RE can remember the wireless networks it was connected to, without needing to be reset when the router it is connected to is replaced.
Plug and Play
Without the help of other wires or cables, users within the coverage range of the wireless network can extend this network just by pressing the WPS button on their router, followed by the Range Extender button on the TL-WA850RE or vice versa. An additional press of the Pair button can quickly establish an encrypted connection with client devices.
Ethernet Bridge
The TL-WA850RE”s single Ethernet port allows the Extender to function as a wireless adapter to connect wired devices such as Blu-ray players, game consoles, DVRs and Internet TVs. At the same time, the device can share the wireless network.
Smart indicator light
The 5 LEDs are used to find out the strength of the wireless signal that the TL-WA850RE receives from the router it communicates with, helping to find the ideal location to place the range extender. Thus, the TL-WA850RE can provide an optimal coverage range and a very good network performance.
Universal compatibility
It works perfectly with all wireless devices in the 802.11 b/g/n standards. It is also compatible with the latest Windows 8 operating system.
